The MOJO LE Officer's Field Aid Kit (O-FAK) is the premier kit in the MOJO LE line and is expressly designed to give the law enforcement first responder the ability to provide immediate life-saving care prior to the arrival of EMS. Vital medical equipment is packaged in an innovative bag so it is immediately available yet unobstrusive when not needed. The bag is equipped with strong magnets to allow it to be attached to any vertical metallic surface in a vehicle (such as a prisoner screen) and then quickly grabbed and hooked to the duty belt or pants pocket with the attached carabiner. Key to the design of the O-FAK is the lengthy law enforcement experience of the professionals at Combat Medical Systems. As prior patrol and plain clothes personnel, they were continually frustrated with the departmental issue of commercial first aid kits and/or EMT style bags. The commercial kits, normally packaged in a metal or plastic box, could not be easily carried into a tactical situation. Worse yet, the commercial EMT kits contained numerous useless items and were frustrating to try to utilize under pressure. The O-FAK is designed to be easily carried in a tactical manner and contains those items needed by enforcement personnel to handle life-threating trauma. In addition, band aids and tape are included so that personnel can treat personal minor cuts and scrapes in the field and stay on duty rather than having to go out of service. This kit works equally well for uniformed and plain clothes personnel.
